About the role
Autonoma is building AI agents that can reason through complex work, use tools, coordinate across systems, and know when human input is needed.
We’re looking for an AI Agent Engineer to build the reasoning, orchestration, and evaluation systems behind reliable production agents.
What you’ll do
Build agent reasoning and orchestration systems.
Improve tool use, planning, and context handling.
Design evaluation frameworks for agent behavior.
Build confidence and escalation mechanisms.
Test agent performance across real workflows.
What you’ll bring
Strong experience with Python or TypeScript.
Experience building LLM or AI-native products.
Familiarity with tool calling and agent workflows.
Strong debugging and systems-thinking skills.
Experience turning experiments into production systems.
Nice to have
Experience with multi-agent systems.
Familiarity with RAG and vector databases.
Experience evaluating LLM applications at scale..
